Concept:
A motion-graphics lyric animation following excerpts from Chuck D's speech at the 2016 AIGA Conference and an interview with Chuck D from Season 2, Episode 11 of "Speaking Freely" (2001).
Execution:
Following the words of Chuck D, the video presents typography and audio effects which highlight and emphasize points from these two speeches. This emphasis deals largely with the tone of the excerpts, drawing on an original piano score and heavily expressive type to reinforce these ideas.
