Concept:
A twenty-part poster series dissecting the connotations and denotations of an object, a recording microphone shock-mount.
Execution:
Examining the feelings and intricacies of an object’s form and use, this series merges expressive typography with staged photography in order to communicate simple and complex concepts including the constant perfectionism within music production. Each poster approaches and depicts its unique concept through various uses of composition and visual metaphor, while simultaneously exploring the possible relationships between the photographed object and the type.
